to create animation sequences for "I See Sue", a DInosaur
Game for ages 4-8
You need:
Good 2D art skills: Careful sense of lighting.
Graceful line qualities.
Consistency.Decent computer skills. Internet, email, uploading
Conscientious with file names.
Entry level FLASH skills. Use of vector drawing tools.
Elemental file (and layer) management
We give you:
"Pencil" animation - bitmapped files in FLASH format --
like this.
black lines: exterior outline of character (black)
red lines: border between primary and secondary color
blue lines: highlight contours
green lines: shadow contours
You deliver
Finished FLASH 4.0 vector animation clips - hopefully better than this.
Pay:
We pay per finished, uploaded frame. Rate depends on quality.
We prefer high quality, but have needs at various levels.
Show us your quality and tell us how much you'd charge (if you know).
Checks are issued each Friday for all work uploaded and accepted up to
10:00am
Scope: over 600 frames, possibly quite a bit more.
Deadline: all work complete by mid-February

Try it out: download our test file.
Please create a sample frame or two using FLASH (preferably 4.0).
This file includes raw pencils and a model.
Make a finished version of one of the pencilled frames,
using the model for colors, line thickness, etc.
Show us: Send email to sharon@bigfun.net with the following:

dollars per frame, at the demonstrated quality

Availability: frames per week through Feb 00
*(If you are uncomfortable naming a price, don't. But it may be slower.)
Your sample will not be used for any purpose except to demonstrate your skills.
ANIMATORS:
Contact
us immediately if you can create 2d dinosaur animation within these
constraints:
Motion and proportions must be " paleonotologically
correct". --And lively!
Must adhere to model provided, while adapting it to digital animation medium
Precise perspective, lighting and cel function requirements. (sample)
Shading must be accurate and consistent.
Either "paper and pencil" or digital files okay.
Note:
Freelance artists who provide these services are contractors to Big Fun, not employees.
They work in their own premises, using their own tools and materials.
These services constitute work for hire.
