Mechanimals fight head-first. You charge into the bad guy to knock him silly, to send him flying, to confisgate his gas.
Hit him where he is vulnerable. Head to head collisons just give both of you a head-ache. But T-bone him in the gut, and you'll punch the gas out of his fuel tank and send him spinning.
When you charge your opponent - throw your weight forward and hunker down.
Put your head into it!
And if you have horns, that's even better!
This ain't a game of patty-cake!
When you're down in attack position, it is easier for you to flip the other guy
and it's much harder for him to flip you.
Don't forget , stability has a downside-
when you are way down low, you won't be making very sharp turns!
If you punch the gas pedal, you pop up on your rear wheels.
You go much faster if all your weight is over the drive wheels,
and no drag from the front.
And you can see more.
Of course, with your front wheels off the ground, it's hard to steer well.
You can still turn by shifting your weight,
but if you need to manoeuver, you'll want to lean forward.
Steering ain't enough, when you want to turn hard.
When you want a sharp turn, you've got to lean into it.
Like a motorcycle racer, you
use your weight to cut into the road.
You can't lean to the side much if you are all hunkered down, or all reared back.
